Dear Santa,

How are you and Mrs. Claus? We hope you had some quiet time since last Christmas. As usual, we’ve been especially good all year at the Thompson Center on Lourdes. We are once again open 5 days a week, cards and choir are back, Elvis was “in the house”, we hosted over a thousand people for our drive throughs and we’re serving congregate meals in the cafeteria again. We continue to clean and sanitize to ensure that everyone is safe and sound!! Our participation numbers continue to increase to pre-pandemic numbers!

We know you are extremely busy, since you’re similar to a nonprofit and December is prime time for generosity AND the month that everyone is asking for something! As members in good standing on the Nice List, we are hoping you could spread our gift list out over the next year, since we have wishes and needs every month. Even a few of these things below will help us out a lot and will make our work easier.

The Thompson Center on Lourdes Christmas wish list:

• Programs and Activities that enrich the lives of our participants
• Instructors for new programs
• Volunteers for the many opportunities available
• Office Supplies – stamps, envelopes, copy paper, tape, pens
• General Supplies – disinfecting wipes, soap, small paper plates, ground coffee
• Sam’s Club Gift Cards to purchase supplies
• Furniture – A coat tree stand, space heaters, standing desks, ergonomic office chair
• Unlimited, unrestricted money

Santa, as you know, TCoL is running an End of Year Giving Campaign to raise money for new wellness certifications and equipment, a movie license and the items listed above. It would be such a Christmas miracle if all our needs were met or we suddenly got an influx of checks in the mail this month. It would make us all so happy. And Santa, think of how happy it will make all our TCoL participants.
